Do I need approval from the POA before installing a fence?
– Yes, before building or replacing an existing fence, it is imperative to obtain approval from the Architectural Control Committee.
How do I obtain approval from the Architectural Control Committee to build or replace a fence?

What are the consequences for violating the POA’s fencing rules?
– Before building or replacing an existing fence, it is imperative to obtain approval from the Architectural Control Committee. Fences must adhere to the style approved by the committee.

Failure to follow this procedure could result in a deed violation. Below is a breakdown of the deed restrictions and owner compliance explanations:
Article III, Section 3.13: Height
– “Walls and fences if any, must be approved prior to construction by the Architectural Control Committee and shall be no closer to front street property lines than the front of the dwelling on each lot and shall be six (6′) in height”.
– To bring this property into compliance, please bring the fence height to what is allowed under the deed restrictions, as well as submitting all fence construction in writing and obtaining approval by the Architectural Control Committee.

– “All fences shall be constructed of wood and shall not be painted in any manner except for sealant. The erection of any chain link, wire, barbed wire, or mesh fence shall be prohibited”.
– To bring this property into compliance, please use materials listed as approved in the deed restrictions and by the Architectural Control Committee, as well as submitting all fence construction in writing and obtaining approval by the Architectural Control Committee.
